Volvo Cars? Chengdu car plant powered by 100% renewable electricity; 65% hydropower

The Volvo Cars manufacturing plant in Chengdu, the company’s largest in China, is now powered by 100% renewable electricity, taking the company’s global renewable electricity mix in its manufacturing network to 80%. Until recently, the Chengdu plant already sourced 70% of its electricity from renewable sources.

Royal Mail announces first delivery office with an all-electric delivery fleet

The Bristol East Central Delivery Office, located in the City’s Easton area, has had its 23 entire fleet of diesel delivery and collection vans replaced by fully electric equivalents. Six electric charging posts have also been installed on the site as part of the transformation.
