Cummins fuel cell technology powers Coradia iLint fleet in Germany

Cummins is powering the world’s first fleet of hydrogen trains in Bremervörde, Lower Saxony, Germany. The first zero-emissions passenger trains in the 14-train fleet arrived in mid-summer. The Coradia iLint has also been successfully tested in Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden.

Solaris to supply two hydrogen buses to Transdev in Sweden

The first electric bus made by Solaris was delivered to Sweden back in 2014. However, e-buses made by Solaris have wended their way through Sweden’s streets for more than 6 years. Since then, Solaris has supplied its customers in Sweden with more than 600 vehicles, the vast majority of which are low- or emission-free vehicles.

Sweden inaugurates its first electric road

Sweden inaugurated a test stretch of electric road on the E16 in Sandviken, thus becoming one of the first countries to conduct tests with electric power for heavy transports on public roads. Scania receives order for 158 biofuel buses in Sweden; ethanol and biodiesel

Scania has received an order for 158 buses from public transport company Keolis Sverige in Sweden. By the second half of 2011 Keolis’ vehicle fleet in Sweden will consist of approximately 2,000 buses, of which more than 60% will be running on renewable fuels.

Nobina adds 19 Ebusco 3.0 12m electric buses; brings total to 100, 20% of fleet

Sweden-based Nobina, the largest Public Transport Operator in the Nordic region, is buying 19 additional Ebusco 3.0 This follow-up order from Nobina brings the number of Ebusco buses in the Nobina fleet to a total of 100.
