Overall , vehicle miles traveled in 2020 were down 13% compared with 2019.

Vulcan Energy signs binding battery-grade lithium offtake agreement with Volkswagen Group

Vulcan Energy Resources ( earlier post ) has signed a binding lithium hydroxide offtake agreement with the Volkswagen Group. The Group comprises ten brands from five European countries: Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, ŠKODA, SEAT, CUPRA, Audi, Lamborghini, Bentley, Porsche and Ducati. In Europe alone, the Group plans to establish six gigafactories with a total production capacity of 240 GWh by the end of the decade.
