The robots that share our public spaces today are so demure. Social robots and service robots aim to avoid offense, erring toward polite airs, positive emotions, and obedience. I'm on my 4th version, I'm VERY happy with it so far. I've moved to only using 2pin connectors for all my CAN Bus work - using Deutsch DTM04-2P housings, 120ohm resistors at each end, 22awg wire, smallest Size 20 pins on each end then regular Size 20s to accommodate the double wires for the middles. For my configuration, I don't need a larger back housing to protect it, just a nice mounting for my Tech Box.
Tesla has announced that it produced its one millionth Powerwall. An impressive milestone that is, unfortunately, overshadowed by some questionable math.

Has anyone ever opened any of these? It is a 0.6kWh 48v with a nominal voltage just above 43v which means it should be 12s. Probably physically divided into two rows of 6s. At 0.6kWh it is not worth much, it is hardly above a e-bike battery. But it is also a nice size to already get 48v from, which is typically only achieved with larger modules. However, it will clearly be able to take and deliver much more amps because of battery size and it has ventilation running through the middle, with.

Hi, I am a long time viewer and aspiring EV conversion hobbyist. I intended to use a Nissan Leaf stack with transmission for several EV conversions that I procured cars and parts for, made plans etc. Well, life changes. I am moving across the county and can't justify taking all of my cars and parts with me. I want to keep enough gear to still build one car, when I get grounded again.

Im super bullish on electric trikes. I may not be a silver-haired fox (yet), but even at a ripe 36 years old, I can appreciate the advantages of a comfortable e-trike just as much as their larger market of mature riders. I dont think age or accessibility should be the only factors when considering the advantages of three wheels over two, and the MeetOne Tour dual motor electric trike is a great example of that.
