Porsche officially drops diesel for future models

By 2022, Porsche will have invested more than €6 billion (US$7 billion) in e-mobility, creating the basis for sustainable growth into the future. Cummins showcases 15L fuel-agnostic engine platform; hydrogen, diesel, biogas

At CONEXPO, Cummins showcased its new fuel-agnostic 15-liter engine platform with hydrogen, natural gas and advanced diesel engines offering low-to-zero carbon fuel capability. The advanced diesel version can use either sustainable HVO fuel or biodiesel with ratings up to 650 hp (485 kW) for the most demanding off-highway duty-cycles.

Honeywell recently introduced a single-stage UOP Ecofining technology offering for the production of renewable diesel fuel. The single-stage Ecofining process produces Honeywell Green Diesel fuel which is chemically identical to petroleum-based diesel and can be used as a drop-in replacement in vehicles with no modifications.

Toyota says diesels aren't dead, might pair with hybrid tech
