IKEA US and Electrify America to install ultra-fast public and fleet charging at more than 25 IKEA retail locations

IKEA US announced a collaboration with Electrify America and Electrify Commercial to bring ultra-fast public charging stations and delivery fleet electric vehicle (EV) charging to more than 25 IKEA retail locations throughout the US. The first locations are expected to open in late 2022 and be completed by the end of 2023.

GE EV Solar Carport Project debuts in Connecticut

The GE EV Solar Carport Project made its debut in Plainville, Connecticut. GE Energy Industrial Solutions combined forces with Inovateus Solar LLC, a national solar power distributor and integrator, to install the carport. With greater than a 25-year lifespan, the EV Solar Carport will annually deliver 125 MWh via 100 kW DC power.

Lightning eMotors partners with Soderholm Bus & Mobility to sell electric commercial vehicles in Hawaii

Soderholm will be installing Lightning eMotors’ fully electric powertrain systems in repowered applications in Hawaii, as well as buying new Lightning eMotors’ vans and shuttle buses. Lightning is shipping the first vehicle to Soderholm next month, and demonstration vehicles will be available in Hawaii this summer for fleets to test drive.
