All the participating jurisdictions are members of the Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI), a regional collaboration of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia that seeks to improve transportation, develop the clean energy economy, and reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector.

The Transportation and Climate Initiative Program (TCI-P) expects to cut greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles in the region by an estimated 26% from 2022 to 2032, and generate a total of more than $3 billion dollars over ten years for the participating jurisdictions to invest.

Industry, government and organizational leaders last week in Washington, DC launched a national initiative aimed at increasing the supply of domestic oil produced through enhanced oil recovery using carbon dioxide (CO 2 -EOR). The EOR Initiative is facilitated by the Great Plains Institute (GPI) and the Pew Center on Global Climate Change.

But now that I’ve found out they’re still lying and covering up their role in climate change and the size of their own carbon footprint, I’m going to have to get tougher with them. I initially gave Exxon/Mobil till 2020 to get out of Torrance and clean up their toxic mess here in my town.
