SGL Group acquires BMW Group’s minority interest in carbon fiber JV

SGL Carbon SE is acquiring BMW Group’s 49% equity investment in the joint ventures SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers GmbH & Co. KG (Germany) and SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers LLC (US)—together referred to as SGL ACF. Once the deal has been completed, SGL Group will be the sole owner of SGL ACF.

200,000 BMW i3 EVs produced in Leipzig over nearly 7 years

BMW launching iX5 Hydrogen pilot fleet

The BMW Group presented the first BMW iX5 Hydrogen vehicles in a pilot fleet that will go into service this year. The fleet of less than 100 vehicles will then be employed internationally for demonstration and trial purposes for various target groups.
