JATO: new car CO2 emissions rise for the first time in a decade in Europe; diesel down, gasoline up, SUVs up

Average CO 2 emissions generated by new cars in Europe increased during 2017—the first rise in 10 years— according to a new analysis by JATO Dynamics. Covering 23 European markets, the study found that average CO 2 emissions increased by 0.3 g/km in 2017, finishing at 118.1 million units in 2017.
