Equinor to supply Maersk with green methanol for the first methanol-enabled container vessel

Moller - Maersk (Maersk) and Equinor signed an agreement securing supply of green methanol for Maersk’s new methanol-enabled feeder vessel ( earlier post ) during its initial months of operation from September 2023 and into the first half of 2024. The green methanol will be bunkered in Rotterdam.

Rolls-Royce to supply 60 MWh battery storage to Semper Power to stabilize the Dutch power grid

Rolls-Royce has been awarded a contract to supply and install a large-scale mtu EnergyPack QG battery storage system on a turnkey basis to the Dutch energy company Semper Power in Vlissingen. thyssenkrupp has signed a contract with Illinois-based CF Industries to supply a 20 megawatt alkaline water electrolysis plant to produce green hydrogen at their Donaldsonville, Louisiana, manufacturing complex.
