Nissan Motor Co., announced the beginning of the pre-order process for the battery-electric LEAF in Japan, as well a starting price of ¥3.76 Nissan aims to sell 6,000 units in Japan in fiscal year 2010. Beginning 1 April, consumers will be able to visit dealers throughout Japan to place their orders for Nissan LEAF.
