Velodyne Lidar has acquired Bluecity, a Montreal-based artificial intelligence (AI) software company, in an all-stock transaction. Velodyne Lidar and Bluecity Intelligent Infrastructure Solution installed in San Jose, California. The addition of Bluecity is expected to be immaterial to operating expenses and cash usage.
