UAE opens Gulf regions largest industrial battery plant; focus on motive power

The UAE inaugurated Eternity Technologies’ industrial battery manufacturing plant at the Industrial Park in Al Jazeera Al Hamra. Owned by the UAE-based Al Dobowi Group, the plant was established with an investment of Dh200 million (US$54.6 With an annual capacity of producing one million 2-volt cells, the company plans to export 85% of its output to global markets including US, Europe and Asia, apart from servicing the UAE and Gulf countries.
