Rolls-Royce, Porterbrook and Chiltern Railways have put a hybrid diesel-battery-electric train that reduces CO 2 emissions by up to 25% into passenger service in the UK. The HybridFLEX train is powered by two mtu Hybrid PowerPacks and is operated by Chiltern Railways on the route between London Marylebone and Aylesbury.

Russian mobile rapid charger manufacturer L-Charge raises more than $1.5 M

L-Charge earlier began test operation of the world’s fastest mobile charging station in Moscow and has plans to develop networks in Paris, Berlin, New York, Amsterdam and London.
