GWU team demonstrates highly scalable, low-cost process for making carbon nanotube wools directly from CO2

Green Car Congress

Stuart Licht have demonstrated the first facile high-yield, low-energy synthesis of macroscopic length carbon nanotubes (CNTs)—carbon nanotube wool—from CO 2 using molten carbonate electrolysis ( earlier post ). The most compact form of captured carbon is through its transformation to solid carbon.

Audi and Krajete developing direct air capture technologies for CO2

Green Car Congress

AUDI AG and the Austria-based green tech company Krajete GmbH are jointly developing new technologies for filtering emissions from ambient air. The recovered CO 2 is then available in a highly concentrated form as a raw material for permanent storage or for a wide range of industrial applications.

Project HyTime demonstrates potential for major CO2 savings from hydrogen dual fuel

Green Car Congress

More than 14 tonnes of CO 2 was saved in a two-year trial involving just 11 urban trucks and vans running on green hydrogen dual fuel. When the vehicles were not using hydrogen in their day to day operations, the principal reason was the lack of available refueling facilities.
