California As the state with the largest number of electric vehicles, California leads the way in offering EV incentives. California provides up to $4,500 in rebates through the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP), based on income eligibility. This rebate is available for new electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
