Out of all manufacturers, Solaris boasted the biggest share (nearly 25%) of newly registered buses with electric drives in Western Europe in the first three quarters of 2020. Link Transit of Wenatchee, Washington has achieved 50 megawatt-hours of energy delivered wirelessly to its electric bus fleet. During the 2019-2020 cold winter weather, a Wenatchee bus featuring the wireless system ran a 14-hour scheduled route and maintained its battery charge above 90% throughout the journey.
