Volvo Trucks opens its first battery plant; cells and modules from Samsung SDI

Volvo Trucks is opening its first battery assembly plant. Located in Ghent, Belgium, the plant will supply ready-to-install batteries for Volvo Trucks’ full electric heavy-duty trucks.
