The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is now operating the largest fleet of electric buses in North America. In June 2018, the Board approved the purchase of 30 more. The TTC acquired the 60 all-electric buses from three manufacturers: BYD Canada Co. —Catherine McKenna, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities.
