In addition to a recent electric car deal with NISSAN Motors ( NSANY ), Portland General Electric, the Oregon state governor and GE have also announced a joint venture with Mitsubishi Motors ( MMTOF.PK ) to develop and sell the Miev electric car with 85 mile range by 2011. Electric cars a still a joke.
At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. The Mitsubishi i-MiEV, only here because SCE is testing it. It’s in fleet lease use in Japan already and I have confidence they’ll be producing them and selling them to actual people.
