SoCalGas adding 50 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell EVs to fleet

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) has taken delivery of 23 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEV), marking the company’s first purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles. The zero-emissions Toyota Mirai HFCEVs have a driving range of 400 miles and since they run on hydrogen the only by-product is water.

HYVIA introduces its first electrolyzer in its plant in Flins, France

HYVIA, the joint venture between Renault Group and Plug dedicated to hydrogen mobility ( earlier post ), has just installed its first electrolyzer in its Flins plant, in the Île-de-France region. This 1 MW electrolyzer has a capacity of 400 kg/day of green hydrogen production—the equivalent of 20,000 km of commercial hydrogen mobility.

Hyzon Motors to supply up to 1,500 fuel-cell heavy-duty trucks to Hiringa Energy in New Zealand
