UC Riverside engineers to “referee” CARB heavy-duty truck emissions program

American Honda Motor to pay $1.9M in penalties in California for small engine emissions violations

eNow has demonstrated a solar-powered zero-emissions commercial-use Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) on a truck making deliveries in an urban environment. The new TRU, branded “Rayfrigeration,” achieved emission reductions of 98% N 2 O, and 97% PM over a five-month test period. N 2 O emissions were reduced from 7162 grams to 1.

EPA announces $4B in funding and RFI for clean port upgrades and heavy-duty vehicles

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the initial steps in the development of programs that will invest $4 billion from the Inflation Reduction Act in US port infrastructure while reducing air pollution. The Clean Ports Program will invest $3 billion in technologies to reduce harmful air and climate pollutants at US ports.
