Daimler reveals long-haul hydrogen fuel-cell semi for series production in late 2020s

After confirming earlier this year that it would end fuel-cell development for passenger cars to focus on commercial trucks, Daimler on Thursday unveiled a long-haul fuel-cell semi truck that will begin customer trials in 2023. The Mercedes-Benz GenH2 is based on the brand's current Actros semi. It boasts a range of 1,000 kilometers (621 miles).
