The 2023 Niro will launch in the United States with three electrified powertrains: hybrid electric (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and all-electric (EV). 2025 Mercedes GLC 350e PHEV brings fast charging, long electric range

The GLC 350e features both 11-kw AC charging and 60-kw DC fast charging, with the latter able to fully charge the pack in about 30 minutes, according to Mercedes. The automaker last month announced that it was delaying its EV targets , with internal-combustion models staying “well into the 2030s.”

SAE International releases new fast-charging combo coupler standard (SAE J1772) for plug-in electric and electric vehicles
