Li Auto's Beijing plant expected to see 1st vehicle roll off line by Sept

CRU: EVs will transform aluminum demand

By 2030, aluminum demand from Electric Vehicles (EVs) will near 10 million tonnes, a ten-fold increase from 2017, according to analysis by mining and metals business intelligence firm CRU. In addition, scrap-intensive secondary castings usage will fall as the shift to full battery electric vehicles occurs, CRU predicts.
