Germany-based RENK Group, a manufacturer of mission-critical drive technologies, is supplying three high-speed special gear units via RENK-Maag GmbH , a group company, for compressors for the production of green steel to Siemens Energy Compressors GmbH as part of the “SALCOS” (Salzgitter Low CO2 Steelmaking) project of the Salzgitter AG steel group.

(CTR) signed a binding offtake agreement for CTR to supply battery-grade lithium hydroxide for use in Stellantis’ North America electrified vehicle production. CTR will supply Stellantis with up to 25,000 metric tons per year of lithium hydroxide over the 10-year term of the agreement.

eFuels company HIF Global ( earlier post ) and Siemens Energy reached an agreement under which Siemens Energy will supply electrolyzers to the HIF Matagorda eFuels Facility. The green hydrogen and eFuels produced by the HIF Matagorda eFuels Facility will be able to convert approximately half a million cars to carbon neutral as early as 2027.
