Hawaii becomes the 4th state to bring a NEVI EV charging station online

Photo: Hawaii Department of Transportation Hawaii’s first National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program EV charging station just came online on Maui. An additional 10 NEVI-funded DC fast chargers are planned for the state, and Hawaii’s Department of Transportation ( DOT ) will open the next one at Aloha Tower on Oahu.

AeroVironment completes first electric vehicle commercial charging station installations in Hawaii

AeroVironment has installed electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at the Marriott Waikiki in Hawaii. The new chargers are part of Hawaii’s growing charging infrastructure currently being deployed to support electric vehicles. In March of this year AeroVironment received a $820,000 contract from the Hawaii EV Ready Grants Program.
