One of the more lasting contributions we can make in our community is to protect the environment by reducing ozone-forming emissions wherever possible. Republic installed a natural gas fueling station to support its new fleet of CNG powered trucks in Mount Laurel. The new CNG fleet will replace older diesel-powered trucks.

Argonne researcher using hydrous ethanol as a dual fuel to lighten the carbon footprint of locomotives

Study finds propane school buses significantly decrease NOx emissions compared to diesel

Researchers installed a portable emissions measurement system to measure exhaust emissions on each vehicle and performed test runs on each bus with both cold and hot starts, for a total of 36 test routes.
