Initially available with only a gasoline engine, we drove the most fuel-efficient Tucson, a plug-in hybrid. Hyundai began offering gasoline-electric hybrid models and plug-in hybrids in 2024. The EPA estimates fuel economy in the AWD Limited trim to be 35 mpg city/35 highway/35 combined with an all-electric driving range of 32 miles.
