GM is expanding its existing collaboration with EVgo to add a new Plug and Charge service to the Ultium Charge 360 ecosystem. GM is the first OEM to introduce a Plug and Charge feature to the company’s existing and future EVs that is designed to work on multiple, public networks in North America.

To accelerate the widespread adoption of EVs, increase access to charging and help enable long-distance electric travel of people and vehicles across the US, GM and Pilot Company (Pilot and Flying J) are collaborating on a national DC fast charging network that will be installed, operated and maintained by EVgo through its eXtend offering.

Vehicle-makers are establishing certification programs to make sure their dealers are prepared to provide a good experience to their customers as they make the transition to EVs. The Freightliner dealer network plans to have 100 dealer locations certified by 2025. We see it as our responsibility to support them on their journey.
