Johnson Matthey building £80M hydrogen fuel cell component gigafactory

Johnson Matthey (JM) is building an £80-million (US$96-million ) gigafactory at its existing site in Royston, UK, to scale up the manufacture of hydrogen fuel cell components. SoCalGas, partners developing technology to make carbon fiber during hydrogen production from methane; reducing the cost of H2 and cutting GHG

(SoCalGas) is partnering with a development team to advance a new process that converts natural gas to hydrogen, carbon fiber, and carbon nanotubes.
