For tachometer, I will be using a sensor ring on the second shaft end of the motor connected to a new instrument. Motor volts, amps, temperature will be showed on 2 inch round dials in the place of oil temp, 12V battery voltage, and fuel level. It's a MK2 golf with 9'' ADC motor fitted, battery tray up front and one sunk into the rear where the fuel tank was. The lights, etc run from a dedicated 12V battery (missing) and all the wiring is there so it should just be a matter of sticking the battery in. The interior is in good order. I'm chuffed with the car.

He said that he would sell me a motor that can lift about 3.5 He said I shouldn't overvolt this motor. they are between 2-3V each. On another topic?

I do have to hand it to Jon at Portland Manufacturing, he did a great job fabricating this connector it fit like a glove, and after assembling the motor and trans. It ran like a dream. While the industry is unregulated some of the lads started using electric motors (hub motors) similar to those produced by golden motor and run these pedicabs on the lead acid or gel batteries. I did have a coupler made from a machinist because this part has to be pretty balanced as it can spin on the motor about 5000 rpm's. The car cost $300, coupler $600,and the used forklift parts and batteries free (salvaged). The coupler cost about $600 but compared to me hacking in the backyard +/- worth the money.
