Nissan using second-life LEAF batteries in factory AGVs

Nissan has begun using second-life battery modules from first-generation LEAF electric vehicles as the power supply for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in its plants. Nissan was exploring new ways to reuse its Nissan LEAF batteries, and hit upon the idea of using them in AGVs. Globally, Nissan has more than 4,000 AGVs at work.

Bombardier (now Alstom) to convert AGC hybrid trains to full battery power

To help France meet its sustainability targets, Bombardier will now convert AGC hybrid trains to full battery power. The partners will modify existing AGC trains into battery-operated trains to help decarbonize French rail transport. The range in battery mode will be at least 80 kilometers.
