Chevrolet accelerates Volt rollout; available nationwide by end of 2011

New York City Department of Sanitation to purchase seven Mack LR Electric refuse trucks

DSNY will use a DC fast charger to charge each of the LR Electric vehicles. The vehicles will be built at Mack’s Lehigh Valley Operations (LVO) facility in Macungie, Pennsylvania, where all Class 8 models for North America and export are assembled.
