Li-ion developer and manufacturer A123 Systems will supply complete lithium-ion battery packs to VIA Motors, an electric vehicle company building next-generation electrified trucks, vans and SUVs. A123 has already begun producing the battery packs at its Livonia, Mich.

Li Auto officially made the Li L7, its first five-seat SUV, available on February 8. Its other two models currently on sale, the Li L9 and Li L8, are both six-seat models.
