General Motors is voluntarily expanding the current Chevrolet Bolt EV recall ( earlier post ) to cover the remaining 2019 and all 2020-2022 model year vehicles, including the new Bolt EUV. GM will replace defective battery modules in Chevrolet Bolt EVs and EUVs with new modules, with an expected additional cost of approximately $1 billion.

The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari has mentioned that the cost of Electric vehicles are going to be available for the petrol vehicle cost and the statement was addressed at an event. The Bounce is offering ‘Battery as a Service option wherein the customers will get an option of purchasing the bike without a battery pack that reduces the cost of the scooter to around 50-60,000 rupees.
