Topsoe and Steeper Energy , a developer of biomass conversion technologies, signed a global licensing agreement for a complete waste-to-fuel solution. The end-products include Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), marine biofuel, and renewable diesel from waste biomass. Steeper Energy was founded in 2011 and is backed by TOM Capital.

Boeing is committing that its commercial airplanes are capable and certified to fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) by 2030. Boeing worked with airlines, engine manufacturers and others to conduct biofuel test flights starting in 2008 and gain approval for sustainable fuels in 2011.

SITA UK and Cynar to build UKs first commercial plants to convert waste plastic to diesel

Cynar is a UK company established to commercialize the ThermoFuel technology exclusively licensed to it in the UK and Ireland by its owners, Ozmotech Pty Ltd. The waste plastics to hydrocarbon fuels liquefaction technology is based on pyrolysis and distillation. Cynar’s first plant is built and operating in Portlaoise, Ireland.
