Johnson Controls does not believe it is the source of lead pollution in Pudong incident

Recent reports from China ( earlier post ) cited local environmental officials suggesting that battery maker Johnson Controls was the source of lead in a pollution incident in Shanghai affecting some 21 children. The Shanghai Plant started operation in 1998 and was acquired by Johnson Controls through a global acquisition in 2005.
