Quebec ends EV purchase incentives, in what could prove a market test

Canada's Quebec province—widely seen as the "California of Canada" with respect to EVs and EV policy—plans to end its EV purchase incentives. Quebec currently offers incentives of up to $7,000 for new EVs and $5,000 for new plug-in hybrids, as well as up to $3,500 for used EVs (all amounts are in Canadian dollars).

T&E study finds plug-in hybrids show higher CO2 emissions than claimed

Plug Power to build green hydrogen plant in Georgia

Malbork, Poland purchases six electric buses made by Solaris

At the end of each day the buses will be connected to plug-in charging devices at the bus depot. Representatives of the municipal operator MZK Malbork (Poland) and Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. signed a contract for the delivery of six electric buses. Emission-free buses will make it to Malbork in September 2021 at the latest.
