Rolls-Royce to supply 60 MWh battery storage to Semper Power to stabilize the Dutch power grid

Rolls-Royce has been awarded a contract to supply and install a large-scale mtu EnergyPack QG battery storage system on a turnkey basis to the Dutch energy company Semper Power in Vlissingen. Semper Power develops and operates energy storage systems for wind and solar farm developers, distribution grid operators and industrial customers.

Shell to start building Europe’s largest renewable hydrogen plant: Holland Hydrogen I

subsidiaries of Shell plc, have taken the final investment decision to build Holland Hydrogen I, which will be Europe’s largest renewable hydrogen plant once operational in 2025. The 200MW electrolyzer will be constructed on the Tweede Maasvlakte in the port of Rotterdam and will produce up to 60,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen per day.
