Cummins fuel cell technology powers Coradia iLint fleet in Germany

Cummins is powering the world’s first fleet of hydrogen trains in Bremervörde, Lower Saxony, Germany. The Alstom Coradia iLint trains ( earlier post ) are outfitted with Cummins fuel cell systems and will run on the world’s first 100%-hydrogen train route in passenger operation.

Pozna? orders 25 Solaris hydrogen buses

has purchased 25 hydrogen-fueled buses from Solaris Bus & Coach. The hydrogen units will join the fleet of MPK in the second half of 2023. This is the largest order so far for Solaris hydrogen Urbino hydrogen buses. The hydrogen system components will have the highest safety systems available on the market.

Construction begins on Neo Orbis; fuel cell vessel with sodium borohydride hydrogen carrier

SoCalGas adding 50 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell EVs to fleet

Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) has taken delivery of 23 Toyota Mirai hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles (HFCEV), marking the company’s first purchase of hydrogen-powered vehicles. The zero-emissions Toyota Mirai HFCEVs have a driving range of 400 miles and since they run on hydrogen the only by-product is water.

Alstom to test its hydrogen fuel cell train in the Netherlands; first pilot project outside Germany

Alstom and the Province of Groningen, local operator Arriva, the Dutch railway infrastructure manager ProRail and the energy company Engie have signed plans for a pilot project to test the Coradia iLint, a passenger train powered by hydrogen fuel cells ( earlier post ), for the first time in the Netherlands.
