Eaton introduces DC-DC converters for 48V commercial vehicle architectures

Power management company Eaton introduced a family of 48-volt DC-DC converters for diesel-powered commercial vehicles that can be used to power accessories such as antilock brakes and lighting. Unlike competitive offerings, Eaton’s DC-DC converters are operational in ambient temperatures up to 85 ?C C and boast 97% design efficiency.

Siemens Energy to supply 1.8GW of electrolyzers to HIF Global for Texas eFuels facility

eFuels company HIF Global ( earlier post ) and Siemens Energy reached an agreement under which Siemens Energy will supply electrolyzers to the HIF Matagorda eFuels Facility. The green hydrogen and eFuels produced by the HIF Matagorda eFuels Facility will be able to convert approximately half a million cars to carbon neutral as early as 2027.

PNNL team develops new low-cost method to convert captured CO2 to methane
