EPA finds NMP and 1-BP present unreasonable risks to human health

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized revisions to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) risk determinations for n-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) and 1-bromopropane (1-BP). In the revised risk determination based on the 2020 risk evaluation , EPA found that NMP presents unreasonable risk to the health of workers and consumers.
