The US Advanced Battery Consortium LLC (USABC) has awarded Cobasys, a subsidiary of SB LiMotive, an $8.4-million million contract to develop high-energy lithium-ion batteries for use in electric vehicle applications. In Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Germany, battery systems are developed and prototypes built.
