Volkswagen Group of America reported that it has sold 100,000 TDI Clean Diesel vehicles from the Volkswagen and Audi brands this year—the first time it has reached this mark in a calendar year. Volkswagen is responsible for more than 75% of the diesels sold in the passenger car and SUV segments in the United States.
