The Customer Experience (CX) fleet from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) consists of six heavy-duty Freightliner eCascadia and two medium-duty Freightliner eM2 106. SUE Mosgortrans has started testing GAZelle e-City electric minibuses, produced by Russia’s GAZ. The electric bus accommodates 16 passengers, 13 of them with seats. The tests of the electric minibus will last until the end of February 2024. The NMC battery pack supports a range of 150 kilometers, according to the company.

Cummins and Isuzu Motors announced an agreement to create a prototype medium-duty, battery-electric truck to demonstrate in North America. Through this arrangement, Cummins will integrate the Cummins PowerDrive 6000 into Isuzu’s F-Series truck and will pilot the truck with prominent North American fleets beginning in 2022.

There are now 600 electric buses on on 42 routes overall, and as replacements for traditional buses on 33 of those routes.
