The very first press car I ever received was a red 2008 Mercury Sable , so let's take a look at the same kind of car at the end of its 16-year career. As it turned out, Mercury was gone after 2011 , despite the best efforts of Jill Wagner , and the revived Sable existed for just the 2008 and 2009 model years before being terminated.
