BMW M introduces its first high-performance car with electrified drive system: BMW XM PHEV

Production of the BMW XM will get underway at BMW Group Plant Spartanburg in the USA in December 2022 before it arrives at dealers worldwide in spring 2023. The key sales markets will be the USA, China and the Middle East. The BMW XM sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 kWh of usable energy.

The new generation smart electric drive has been available in Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan since production began in 2012. The 55 kW electric motor delivers 130 N·m (96 lb-ft) of torque; acceleration from from 0 to 60 km/h (37 mph) takes 4.8 Top speed is 125 km/h (78 mph).

Mercedes-Benz introduces 2014 B-Class Electric Drive; on sale first in US in 2014
