Hyundai XCIENT fuel cell fleet in Switzerland logged 5M km in 2 years

Hyundai Motor Company announced that its fleet of XCIENT Fuel Cell heavy-duty trucks in Switzerland has accumulated more than 5 million km in two years. The XCIENT Fuel Cell is equipped with a 180-kW hydrogen fuel cell system with two 90-kW fuel cell stacks. The driving range is over 400 km per charge in real world conditions.

Duisburg orders 25 Solaris hydrogen buses

The public transport operator in the German city of Duisburg has chosen Solaris for the delivery of 25 Urbino hydrogen buses—11 of the 12-meter version and 14 articulated, 18-meter vehicles. This marks the first step for Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft AG (DVG) in its hourney to transform its fleet to completely emission-free by 2030.

27 Hyundai XCIENT fuel cell trucks entering fleet service in Germany; funding from BMDV

Seven German companies in logistics, manufacturing and retail will put 27 Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell trucks into fleet service with funding for eco-friendly commercial vehicles from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). Refueling a full tank of hydrogen takes about 8 to 20 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature.
