Port of Long Beach increases green ship incentive, exempts low-NOx natural gas trucks from Clean Truck Fund Rate

The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners earlier this month approved changes centered around incorporating the international Environmental Ship Index (ESI) into the Port’s Green Ship Incentive Program, which began in 2012. Cummins unveils 15L hydrogen engine

This engine is built on Cummins’ new fuel-agnostic platform, where below the head gasket each fuel type’s engine has largely similar components, and above the head gasket, each has different components for different fuel types.

Matson takes delivery of first dual-fuel Kanaloa-Class con-ro vessel Lurline

At 870 feet long, 114 feet wide (beam), with a deep draft of 38 feet and weighing in at over 50,000 metric tons, Lurline is now Matson’s largest ship and the largest con-ro vessel ever constructed in the US.
